Camera mobile phones are mobile phones with built-in cameras. They are usually no bigger than normal mobile phones but have become hugely popular. Resolution on popular VGA camera phones is as good as what can be achieved with a low end digital still camera. The competition in mobile phone market is so fierce that mobile manufacturer like Nokia, Motorola, and Samsung all are producing high quality and feature rich camera phones. Some camera phones have digital zoom, flash, self portrait and colour adjustment features.
There are hundreds of uses of a camera mobile phone which you wouldn’t even think of. You can use your camera phone to store pictures while traveling or shoot stills, video clips at converts to show to your friends stuck at home. It just takes a few seconds to take a picture, store it in memory, find it and forward it to another phone or email account. But using your mobile phones in inappropriate situations could be illegal.
By following some basic rules of camera phone etiquette, you can enjoy without running into trouble.
• You should ask for permission before you take someone’s pictures with your camera phone.
• You should be careful about taking pictures of minors.
• Follow the rules about use of photography and flash photography in museums, movies, hospitals.
• Don’t download, take and post photos on the internet without the subject’s consent.
• Don’t use your camera phone in places like clothing store changing rooms, swimming pools, etc.
• Don’t take your camera phone into restricted places like in some companies you may be violating a company’s security policies.
• Avoid using camera phones while driving
