BATTERY LIFE

Your mobile phone rings. Someone important in is calling. But before you manage to answer the call, the battery fails. "Oh God, battery is dead again! I'd just recharged it last night..."

Is the situation above sounds familiar?

Everyone wants to have a fully (or half-full) recharged battery, so that no calls or incoming messages will be missed. This is important in your daily life and business. What if a family member is trying to convey you an important message and your battery fail? How are you going to call for assistance when your car breakdown and your battery fails? In business, to miss a call from your client might costs you a million if he starts to lose interests in dealing with you.

Most of all new generation mobile phones come with Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery while the older models still use nickel-based battery such as Nickel-Cadmium (NiCad) or Nickel Metal-Hydrate (NiMH). Li-Ion battery is much lighter, has a longer life and maintenance-free, compared to the nickel-based battery. However, the performance of Li-Ion battery will start to decrease after 2 to 3 years, even if the battery is never being used yet!

If your battery starts to give you problems in a period of less than a year from the day you purchase it, it is time for you to know how to take a good care of your battery; in order to prolong it's lifespan.
